Cesar Julio Romero was born on February 15, 1907, in New York, New York. During the 1920s Cesar began his career on Broadway. He worked with Myrna Loy in The Thin Man and with Betty Grable in Springtime In The Rockies. Cesar made four movies with Carole Landis including the 1942 comedy Orchestra Wives. He also played "The Joker" on the TV series Batman. Cesar never married and many sources claim that he was gay. He died on January 1, 1994 from bronchitis and pneumonia.
