Corinne Griffith was one of the biggest stars of the silent era, known as The Orchid Lady.

Corinne Griffith was educated in a convent in New Orleans. 1916 she signed a contract with Vitagraph, and turned several films that have made her a famous movie star. 1923 she moved to First National, which she has since announced as The Orchid Lady and The Most Beautiful Girl In The World. Like later Hedy Lamarr familiar Corinne Griffith on her looks rather than her dramatic talents. Her films were mostly romantic comedies, melodramas and Salon. The actress lived quietly and without great expense in a rented property. Unlike her ethereal image canvas Griffith negotiated their contracts every person and also supervised the installation of their high salaries themselves early as the middle of the decade it was considered the richest woman next to Mary Pickford.

Griffith managed the transition to talkies and not moved back into private life in 1932. One of her many books she published the biography of Papa's Delicate Condition was founded in 1962 filmed by George Marshall.
