Gladys GeorgeHer film debut was in 1919 in Red Hot Dollars. Her first big success came in 1936 in Gladys George Valiant Is the Word for Carrie. For the role of Carrie Snyder, she was nominated for the Oscar. A year later she starred with Spencer Tracy, the female lead in 1918 - Peace broke out.
