Plot:
It is the beginning of the civil war and Scarlett O'Hara is madly in love with Ashley Wilkes. When Ashley marries Melanie Hamilton Scarlett accepts a marriage proposal from Melanie's brother. After her husband is killed Scarlett develops a relationship with the charming Rhett Butler. As the war rages on Scarlett's family loses their fortune and she must find a way to save Tara, their beloved plantation. Eventually Scarlett agrees to marry Rhett but she is still in love with Ashley and her life with Rhett is filled with heartache.
