Robert with his horse

Robert Taylor was born Spangler Arlington Brugh on August 5, 1911, in Filley, Nebraska. He was known as "The Man With The Perfect Profile". Robert starred in many successful movies including Small Town Girl. Waterloo Bridge, and Personal Property. In 1939 he married actress Barbara Stanwyck. During the filming of the drama Johnny Eager Robert had a brief affair with Lana Turner. In 1951 Robert and Barbara divorced. He married actress Ursula Thiess in 1954. Robert died on June 8, 1969 from lung cancer.
